Prince Apori Moderates Leadership Conference in Kigali, Rwanda

On March 18th, 2019, AFROCACY in collaboration with the AYLF Kepler and the PLO Lumuba Foundation held a joint Leadership Conference at the Kepler Campus in Kimironko – Kigali, Rwanda. The theme for the gathering was ‘Investment in Youth Capacity Building, A Drive towards the Socio-Economic Development of Africa.’ The conference which was focused on retooling the next generation of African leaders saw the participation of high profiled personalities including;

  • Hon. Hon. Rosemary Mbabazi, Minister of Youth, Republic of Rwanda
  • His Excellency, Amb. Brig. Gen. Chief Dr. Wallace W. Williams, Hon. Consul General of Trinidad and Tobago to the Federal Republic of Nigeria
  • Rev. Dr. Rutayisire Antoine, Former Executive Secretary – Unity & Reconciliation, Rwanda
  • Professor Silas Lwakamba, Former Minister of Education, Rwanda
  • Hon. Tito Rutaremara, Senator in Parliament, Rwanda

The gathering which lasted for several hours saw the participation over 200 youth across the East African sub-region and was successfully moderated by Prince Anim Apori, on his invitation as the Secretary General and West African Ambassador for AFROCACY.
